Service Description
This course is delivered via Zoom. Payment plan available. The Equimotional Coaches Course is a 10 week course that is a trauma informed, strength based and person centered approach to Equine Facilitated Learning. The course includes 10 comprehensive modules, extensive training guides & 6 PDF workbooks which include over 30 activities. Topics covered in the booklets are self-esteem, confidence, mindfulness and more! This course has international accreditation through IPHM & ITOL. Modules covered: Module 1: Vulnerability - Learn about what it means to be vulnerable within our work & our personal lives. Module 2: Safeguarding - Learn about the importance of safeguarding our clients and learn how to recognize abuse. Module 3: Trauma Informed Care - Learn about real, up to date trauma informed care. Discussions around outdated modalities and how to provide non pathologizing care. Learn ways we can create trauma informed sessions for our clients. Module 4: Person Centered Care - Person Centered Care Module: Individualized approach focusing on each person's unique needs and experiences. Emphasis on creating a safe and nurturing environment. Avoids labelling or pathologizing behaviours. Tailored interventions that honour diverse backgrounds & past experiences. Module 5: Mindfulness Module: Cultivation of self-awareness, emotional regulation and resilience. Practices rooted in mindfulness to enhance present moment awareness. Encourages acceptance and non-judgmental attitude towards thoughts & feelings. Incorporates trauma informed techniques to ensure sensitivity to past experiences. Module 6: PACE - Learn about the PACE model: Engage in a dynamic learning journey incorporating playful activities, fostering acceptance, curiosity and empathy for personal growth and transformation in our sessions. Module 7: Therapeutic Language with NLP - We go over using NLP in a trauma informed way. Module 8: EFL Exercises - Learning Equine Assisted Exercises (EFL). Module 9: Understanding Grief - We will discuss what grief means to you. We will also go over the Dual Process Model, Disenfranchised Grief and ways you can support your clients with their grief. Module 10: Recap & Case Studies - What it means to be Equimotional. How to implement sessions. Working through our booklets and review case studies.
